Turn on the attract loop and talk reminders.
While nobody is using a screen, it can play big facts and photos to draw people over, and remind them when a talk is about to start. Both are on for new screens. Here's how to change them.
Steps
-
In the sidebar, under Content, click Live Labels.
-
In the screen's row, click Edit.
-
Under Live extras, tick Talk reminder and type how many minutes before the talk it appears. Tick Show the next talk in the top bar to show the next talk all the time.
-
Under Attract loop, tick Play big facts and photos after, and type how many seconds untouched before it starts.
-
To see them, tick Show the attract loop or Show the talk reminder above the Live preview.
-
Click Save screen.
Good to know
- The talk reminder only appears over the exhibit screen when nobody has touched it for a little while, never over an animal's page. A tap closes it.
- A screen reminds people about its own exhibit's talks and your whole-site talks. To link a talk to an exhibit, choose its Exhibit in Talk Times.
- The reminder can be 1 to 30 minutes before a talk. The attract loop can start after 30 to 1,800 seconds.
- In the attract loop a new animal appears every 10 seconds. A touch goes straight back to the exhibit.
- The attract loop setting isn't used when the screen's Layout is already Attract loop.
- Phone QR code in the bottom strip adds a code visitors can scan to open the exhibit in your guide on their phone.
