Connect Stripe to take payments.

Connect your venue's own Stripe account so visitors can give to your appeals. Every donation goes straight into your account, less Stripe's card fee, and Curious takes nothing.

Steps

   In the sidebar, under Settings, click Payments.

   Click Connect with Stripe.

   TipIf your plan doesn't include it, a box opens saying “Visitor payments are part of Accelerate”, with an Upgrade to Accelerate button.

   Stripe opens. Fill in your business and bank details. It takes about 10 minutes, and Curious never sees your bank details.

   When you finish, Stripe brings you back to Payments. Your Stripe account's name shows with Connected.

Good to know

• If you stop part way, Payments shows Not finished. Click Continue setup ↗ to carry on where you left off.
• If Stripe needs more details later, Payments says “Stripe needs more details.” and shows Paused. Payments stop until you click Update details ↗ and give them.
• Refunds, receipts and payouts are managed in your Stripe account. Click Open Stripe ↗ on the Payments page to get there.
• Curious keeps no donor names or e-mail addresses.
• Only Admins can see Payments.
