Add an experience.
Experiences are the extras visitors can book, such as an animal encounter or a behind-the-scenes tour. Each one has a price and can link to your booking page.
Steps
-
In the sidebar, under Content, click Experiences.
-
Click + Add New Experience, at the top of the page.
-
Type the experience's Name and Price.
TipThe price is shown just as you type it, so “£35”, “Free” or “From £20” all work.
-
In Booking Link, paste the web address of its booking page.
TipThe link is optional, but without one visitors get no Book now button.
-
Under Show on exhibits, tick each exhibit where visitors should see it.
-
The exhibit's animals are listed under its name, all ticked. Untick any whose fact file shouldn't show the experience.
-
Click Save Experience.
What visitors see
- Every experience is listed under Experiences on your guide's Get Started page, with its price and a Book now button.
- Each exhibit you ticked shows a booking card at the top of its Things to do, and on the fact files of the animals you left ticked.
- If you tick no exhibits, it only appears on the Get Started page.
Good to know
- Leave every animal ticked and new arrivals in that exhibit will show the experience too.
- To change or remove an experience, click Edit or Delete in its row. Before deleting, a box with the experience's name asks you to click Delete experience.
- On the Accelerate plan, Insights shows how many visitors clicked Book now on each experience.
