Test a QR code before you print.

A quick scan with your own phone shows that a code opens the right exhibit before you pay for printing.

Steps

   In the sidebar, under Content, click QR Codes.

   Choose the exhibit from the list.

   Click Generate QR Code.

   Point your phone's camera at the code on your screen and tap the link that appears.

   Check that your guide opens on the right exhibit's page.

Test the printed sign

• Print one copy at the size you'll use, and put it where the sign will go.
• Scan it from where visitors will stand, in the real light. Try more than one phone if you can.
• If it doesn't scan, see what the screen says and check the guide below.

Good to know

• The code on screen opens the same page as the one you download.
• If the exhibit is Hidden or under Maintenance, the code opens a notice instead of the page. Set its Status to Active first.
• In Exhibits & Objects, ⋯ then Open visitor page opens the same page on your computer.
