When a visitor earns a badge that has a reward, they show you their phone. You check the screen, hand over the reward and mark it as claimed on their phone. There's nothing to do in Curious itself.

Steps

1. 1

   Ask the visitor to open the Discovery Hub in the guide. They can tap the bar that starts Your discovery.

   Ask them to tap the badge. A badge with a reward to collect shows 🎁 Reward!.

3. 3

   Check the card says ✓ Earned and shows 🎁 Your reward: with what they've won. Hand it over.

   Tap Staff only — mark as claimed, then confirm in the box that asks “Staff only — mark this reward as claimed?”.

   The card now says Reward claimed ✓ today, so the same reward can't be claimed again.

Good to know

• Each reward can be claimed once per badge, on that phone. A badge that's already been claimed shows the day it was claimed.
• Any Small print you've added shows on the visitor's card, under the reward.
• Every claim is counted in the Rewards claimed tile of your Discovery report.
• The button asks for confirmation so a visitor doesn't use up their own reward by tapping it by mistake. Tell desk staff to tap it themselves.
