Your Home page explained.
Home is the first page you see when you sign in. It shows how today is going, one highlight from the week, and anything in your guide that needs fixing.
Steps
-
In the sidebar, click Home.
-
The line at the top says how many visitors you've had so far today, and how that compares with yesterday.
-
The three tiles show today's visitors, today's Exhibit scans and the last 7 days of Views, each compared with the day or week before.
-
The last 30 days chart shows views as a line. Once Curious has counted visitors for a week, visitors show as grey bars behind it.
-
This week's story picks out one thing worth knowing, such as a record day or a popular exhibit. Click View in Insights โ for more.
-
Needs attention lists problems in your fact files, such as an animal with no photo. Click Fix or Add photo to go straight to it.
-
Get going has shortcuts to add an object, create a quiz, print QR codes or open Insights.
Good to know
- A view is one page opened in your guide. An exhibit scan is a view of an exhibit's page, usually from its QR code. A visitor is one phone, however many pages it opens.
- For the first week, Home shows views instead of visitors, while visitor counting gets going.
- Open your guide, at the top, opens your visitor guide in a new tab, just as visitors see it.
- New venues also see a Get set up checklist at the top of Home.
- After an update to Curious, a What's new button sits beside the date for a month. Click it for a short tour of what's changed. The tour also opens by itself the first time you visit after an update.
- If you have Live Labels wall screens, a screen that's offline also shows in Needs attention.
- Home works on every plan. Insights is part of the Accelerate plan: on Discover and Engage, View in Insights โ and Open Insights show an Upgrade Required box instead.
