Create a quiz.
A quiz is a short set of questions visitors play on their phone at an exhibit. Write it here, then put it on the exhibit it belongs to.
Steps
-
In the sidebar, under Content, click Quizzes.
-
Click + Add New Quiz, below the list of quizzes.
-
Give the quiz a Title, and a Description if you like.
-
Write the first question in Question.
-
Under Options, type the answers visitors choose from, then click the circle beside the right one.
TipThe quiz builder starts each question as Multiple Choice. For true or false, tick-all-that-apply or slider questions, see Add questions and answers.
-
Click + Add Question for each further question, up to five.
-
Click Save Quiz. You'll see “Quiz created successfully!”.
TipIf a question isn't finished, the quiz isn't saved. The question is outlined, with a message saying what it still needs.
Next: put it on an exhibit
- A new quiz shows as Unassigned in the Status column, and visitors can't find it yet. To put it on an exhibit, see Choose quiz settings.
- Click the quiz's title in the list to try it out the way visitors will.
Good to know
- A quiz needs a title and at least one finished question: the question, at least two options and the right answer chosen.
- Quizzes have up to five questions. + Add Question stops working at five.
- Settings has two boxes, ticked to begin with: Show confetti on correct answers and Show score at end of quiz. You can also add a parting fact in Did you know.
