Archive or restore a link.
Archive a forwarding link when it's no longer needed, such as when an appeal ends. Its QR code stops forwarding, and you can restore it any time.
Steps
-
In the sidebar, under Content, click Forwarding Links.
-
In the link's row, click Archive.
-
A box explains what happens. Click Archive link.
-
To bring a link back, open Archived links below the list and click Restore in its row.
What visitors see
- People who scan an archived link's code see "This link isn't active right now", with a note that there's plenty more to discover nearby.
Good to know
- The link's scan history is kept, and scans of the archived code are still counted.
- A restored link keeps its short link and QR code, so old signs work again straight away.
- If the page has just moved, change where the link goes instead of archiving it.
