Set your colours.
Your visitor guide uses your own colours. As you change them, a phone on the page shows a real fact file in the new colours and checks the text is easy to read.
Steps
-
In the sidebar, under Settings, click Branding.
-
Under Colours, click a colour's swatch to pick a new one, or type its hex code in the box beside it.
-
Check the Live preview and the readability checks below it. If a check says ✕ fails AA, click its Try button to use a colour that passes.
-
Click Save branding. Your guide changes for visitors straight away.
Which colour is which
- Header: the bar at the top of every page, and buttons.
- Header text: text and icons on the header and buttons.
- Background: behind everything.
- Cards: fact files, cards and panels.
- Text: body text.
- Links: links and highlights.
- Highlights: badges, progress rings, the quiz and audio buttons. It's Curious gold unless you change it.
Good to know
- Curious works best with a dark header colour. If you choose a light one, you'll see a note saying so, but you can still save it.
- Discard changes puts the colours back to how they were when you last saved.
- Only Admins can see Branding.
